Antique 14k Gold Cut Scent Bottle 19th Century w/ Leather Case
This antique gold cut scent bottle is quite the rare and exciting find! It features gold paneling on the front and flip lid with intricate patterns cut in it. The front panel has a scroll cut into the pattern and it does not have a name engraved in it. The bottle is cut glass to add to the elegance. The lip flips open on a hinge revealing a tiny glass stopper which is shockingly intact! The case for the scent bottle is covered in leather with a small ornate hook closure. The case is significantly worn and split in half. It still hooks closed when both pieces are placed on top of each other. The inside of the case in lined in fabric. This unique set is hard to find and would be a perfect addition to any perfume or scent bottle collection.
Condition: The perfume bottle has a small dent in the gold on the upper right-hand corner of the panel. The hinge on the topper opens and closes smootly. The pin on the hinge sticks out a little on one side. The bottle is not engraved with a name on the scroll. The glass has no chips, cracks, or fleabites. The bottle and case could use a detailed cleaning. The inside of the bottle is fairly clean. The leather bottle case is in two pieces and not held together by the hinge. The hook closure still works when they are stacked on each other. The fabric lining of the case is stained, faded, and dirty.
