Vtg 1930s Armor Bronze German Shepherd Bookends Door Stopper Set
This Armor Bronze set of German Shepherd bookends is superb! Perfect for herding your books or other vertical possessions into place and guarding them. These almost antique bookends are weighty and feature a German Shepherd attentively sitting on the ground looking for their next task. Each one has the original "Armor Bronze" sticker on the bottom with green felt. The green felt is in varyng condition on each. Please read the condition below for more information. One of the shepherds has some green patina and a crack on the top of its nose. These would be a fantastic edition to any home office, library, study, or living room! Also, an excellent gift for dog and antique lovers alike!
Condition: The German Shepherd bookend with the green patina on the base has a crack on the top of its nose. Both book ends are dusty and could use a detailed cleaning and polishing. The stickers on each are in good, readable condition and affixed to the green felt bottoms. The green felt base on one is missing a chunk and folded over in one spot. The green felt base on the other is coming unglued and loosing in appearance (see photos). Overall, they are both in good shape for their age. Please carefully review the images as they serve as an extension of the description.
