Vtg 1963 Bischoff Burnt Honey Wayne Husted Decanter
This gorgeous decanter was designed by Wayne Husted in 1963. It's made of hand-blown glass with a glossy finish. It's stunning and a great conversation piece for any home or style of décor. It doesn't have any chips, cracks, or fleabites. There are a few air bubbles on the edges of the double pour sides of the decanter mouth. There are a few bubbles on the decanter bottle (see photos). The shape is reminescent of iconic Mid-Century Modern style. This particualr piece pulls in at the center of the oblong body and then tapers to a point at the top of the teardrop-shaped stopper. The burnt honey coloring is simply gorgeous and would look even better in natural lighting. This would make an excellent gift or addition to any collection!
Condition: Due to production techiques used to create the piece it has air bubbles by the mouth and on the body of the piece. There are no chips, cracks, or fleabites. The top of the stopper is textured and there is one spot on it (not a crack or anything, just a small white spot on the side of it as shown in the photos). There is one slight water spot inside the decanter which should resolve with cleaning. Please carefully review the images as they serve as an extension of the description.
