Vtg 1976 Remco McDonaldland Playset w/ Train + Playmat + Box 80% Complete
This 1976 vintage McDonaldland Playset has all the charm of the vintage family restaurant chain plus a side of whimsy! I would say the set is about 80% complete and it includes the original box plus a few extras. No dolls, bridge, Apple Pie Tree, or green train portions are included. - 7 sections of train track (full circle of track)
- 1 Hamburger Patty Wagon
- 1 Stop & Go switch
- 1 28.5" x 30" Playmat with backdrop
- 1 McDonald's Family Restaurant with table and bench, hamburger, drink and tray
- 4 leaf sections of the Applie Pie Tree
- 1 pair of stilts with their base
Extras:
- 1 Chicken Nugget Mariachi band
- 1 1988 Plastic McDonald's cup
- 1 Ronnd McDonald post card sized artwork/picture with a blank back
Condition: The box is not in the best shape. There is tape residue, creasing, a few holes, worn corners, and some pieces missing off the side flaps. There is writing on the box in black marker "Gasper" and "Basement" (see photos). The cardboard playmat and McDonald's restaurant cardbard have wear. The McDonald's restaurant has tape on the backside of each seam, and has ripped apart on one of the inner seams (see photos). The playmat is in good shape outside of the worn corners and general wear. The print on it is bright and vibrant. The snaps on the playmat base did not work for me. Maybe they'll work for you? The nugget Mariachi band is in excellent shape and the backing does not appear to open. The McDonald's plastic cup has a little wear on the outside (see photos), and needs a cleaning on the inside. Please carefully review the images as they serve as an extension of the description.
