Vtg 1987 Chapman Underwriter's Laboritories Set of Two Brass Koi Candlestick Lamps
This beautiful set of candlestick lamps exude MCM and Hollywood Regency vibes. They feature brass bases with koi fish or dolphin-like sea creatures on them supporting a round ball. These whimsical lamps have rotating toggle switches on them that allow them to be in two different lighting settings. One of them is a dimmer lighting and the other brighter. The switches are marked "Leviton." The lamps have a sticker on the bottom of each. One has a blue sticker marked "Underwriters Laboratories Portable Lamp Chapman" and the second a yellow sticker marked "1987 Chapman All Rights Reserved." The black felt is coming undone slightly on the bottom of each lamp. The lamps come with one finial. One finial is missing. The lamps do not come with bulbs and do work. There is sticker residue on one of the candlestick stems and there are spots on the brass bottoms of both lamps. The lamps have clear-ish yellow cords in good working condition. No shades are included. These lamps take incandescent bulbs only. These would be an excellent addition to any eclectic home!
Condition: There are spots on the brass bases. The black felt in the bases is coming off on at least one side. Both lamps have a sticker on the bottom felt that is easily readable. Both lamps are in working condition with no wires exposed. There is sticker residue on the candlestick portion of one lamp. The rolling toggle switches work on each lamp. Please carefully review the images, as they serve as an extension of the description.
