Vtg Carved Circular Bakelite Tortoise Shell Brooch
This circular carved tortoise shell bakelite brooch has a soft approach! The carved portions have somewhat of a gold tone on the inside of them and give dimension to the brooch. The carvings resemble somewhat of a leaf pattern. The brooch has a rounded top and is a beautiful tortoise shell color with flecks of black within the amber colored bakelite. When rubbed, this brooch definitely smells like bakelite. The backing is a stick pin with a slightly ben hook closure (see photos). This would be an excellent addition to any collection!
Condition: In gently pre-loved vintage shape. The back closure is slightly bent on the hook porition, but still opens and closes smoothly and securely (see photos). Please carefully review the images as they serve as an extension of the description.
