Vtg Elna Grasshopper Sewing Machine + Case + Manual + Accessories Works!
This vintage 1950s Elna Grasshopper is compact and charming! Perfect for smaller spaces and sewing on the go. It comes with the original carrying case, machine manual, two loose instructional sheets, accessory box, various accessories, and three stapled instructional sheets (two with pencil on them). The case has cosmetic wear though still functions well, and the handle is sturdy. The machine is in great shape with some wear, and sews well. The machine has a foldout thigh pedal. As with any sewing machine, it's recommended to get a service tune up upon purchase. 110/120V, 35W, type 500890. This is a fabulous vintage unit and it would make a wonderful addition to any sewist collection!

Condition: The light and power turns on and off. The machine sews and is in working condition. The power cord is in good shape with no visible issues. The foldout thigh pedal works, and extends and folds back up smoothly. The outside of the case has sticky spots and some fabric residue (see photos). The leather handle is worn, but still secure and solid. The machine has light paint chips on the box and edges (see photos). The fold open paper manual has rips and is missing part of the back portion of the foldout cover. Please carefully review the images, as they serve as an extension of the description.
