Vtg Imexal Desk Alarm Clock Day Swiss Clock MCM
This brass Imexal 8 day Swiss desk alarm clock is big on style and statment while being low profile in size. This 5" diameter clock has a triangular base with felt on the bottom. The negative space inside the base gives it more visual interest. The dial features swirled background "12," "3," "6," and "9" indices. The other hours indices are brass sticks. The clock is marked "Imexal" "electric" on the dial and the hour and minute hands are infinity-shaped with pointed tips. You can unscrew the three screws on the backside of the clock to gain access to the battery and mechanical portion of the clock. The back panel is marked "Swiss" and the inside of the clock is marked "1DIV=10sec/24H" and "Swiss." This clock is untested. I'm not sure how the battery works with it or if it's missing battery components. It may require repair. This clock would be an excellent addition to any collection and made a statment in a home office, office, home study, or anywhere else it is placed!
Condition: The clock is untested and may require servicing. There are a few light spots on the top brass of the clock. The base of the clock could use a detailed cleaning and is dusty. The red felt bottom of the clock is in good shape, present, and attached. There are tape and other wear marks on the back panel of the clock.
